  5. CompuShow is a graphics display program for CompuServe GIF (version "87a" and
  6. "89a"), RLE, MacPaint, PC Paint/Pictor, PC Paintbrush, Dr. Halo, Ega Paint,
  7. ColoRix, Targa, IFF/LBM/HAM, Windows Paint BMP, TIFF and GEM/Ventura IMG
  8. graphics images. It supports Hercules, CGA, PCjr/Tandy-1000, EGA, "Super-EGA",
  9. MCGA, VGA, XGA, "Super-VGA", the IBM Professional Graphics Controller and
  10. 8514/A adapters. Super-VGA support includes Ahead Systems, ATI, AcuMos,
  11. Chips & Technologies, Compaq, DGIS, Everex, Genoa, NCR, Oak Technologies,
  12. Paradise, STB, Tseng Labs, TIGA, Trident, Video7 and VESA VBE adapters and
  13. full color (Targa 16/24/32, 24-bit BMP, PCX, IFF/LBM/HAM and TIFF) graphics on
  14. "Hi-Color" cards including ATI, Compaq, Diamond, Hercules Graphics Station,
  15. XGA, STB Ergo, Tseng Labs and VESA (version 1.2). CompuShow also provides
  16. 16 color graphics displays on a CGA, Amstrad PC1512, AT&T 6300, Cirrus,
  17. Hercules InColor, Plantronics, and Tandy 1000SL/TL. Files are selected for
  18. display from an on-screen file directory, which may be sorted by name,
  19. extension, size or date, in ascending or descending sequence. Move around the
  20. file directory using cursor arrow keys or a microsoft-compatible mouse.
  21. Select from eight smooth-motion mouse cursor shapes or the hardware mouse
  22. cursor. Log to a different disk drive, change sub-directories, rename,
  23. delete, copy and move files. The program automatically selects the best
  24. display mode, or you may display in any mode available on your graphics
  25. adapter. Images larger than the screen may be panned vertically and
  26. horizontally. If EMS or XMS memory is available, pan images as large as
  27. 1280x1024x256. Colors may be adjusted on EGA, MCGA, and VGA systems, and
  28. the adjusted palette saved to disk.

  31. printing on monochrome and color dot matrix and laser printers and includes
  32. an automatic Slide Show and configuration program.
